Carol Shea-Porter For Congress

Shea-Porter for US Congress

Against all odds and without a huge bankroll, Carol won the primary and is now our candidate for US Congress.  She won it by listening to voters concerns & earned the loyalty & hard work of many volunteers. This true grass roots campaign is going to be successful because of its message of caring for people and because Jeb Bradley has ignored his  For more information go to:

Why I'm Running...
Picking up the slack...
Washington DC is stuck. The overwhelming concerns over the war on terror combined with partisan bickering has left many issues unresolved.  I believe our state will increasingly need to fill in the gaps left by Washington's inaction on important issues like
safety, education, health care, energy, and the environment.

Local Control & Local Cooperation...
Governor Lynch is proving that Democrats and Republicans can work together toward solving the problems facing our state. We have a long tradition of local control and financial responsibility. Unlike Washington, we pay as we go and make hard choices.  Together we can improve education, healthcare and the enviroment. We can do these things without breaking the bank. I want to provide the Governor with the legislative support to continue his work.

My Part...
My family reminds me of how blessed we are. I have a moral obligation to try and leave things better than I found them.

Your Part...
If elected, I'll seek the opinions of those I represent. You need to stay informed & communicate your ideas and concerns. Only with an involved populace can representative government be effective.

Why a Democrat?...
Throughout history Democrats have represented the working people, stood for fairness and equality of opportunity. Today, more than ever, we need Democratic leadership.  Governor Lynch is providing that leadership and with your vote I hope to help him.

Under John Lynch, New Hampshire erased a major budget deficit and balanced the budget without new taxes – and even invested $50 million in the state’s Rainy Day Fund. At the same time, New Hampshire has made important investments in expanding access to health care, job creation and economic development, and in education at all levels.

Gov. Lynch deserves some more support in the legislature and I intend to supply that support if elected.

Support Governor Lynch in 2006!

With Governor Lynch in Laconia.

I was proud to be in the company of Governor Lynch last week in Laconia where he was speaking in support of state senate candidate Kathi Sgambati. For more information about our governor go to:

With Kathleen Sgambati in Laconia.

I have been working just as hard to see Kathleen Sgambati elected to the state senate as I have on my own campaign. Kathy is  not your typical politician. For over a quarter-of-a-century Kathy Sgambati served in the Department of Health and Human Services. As Deputy Commissioner during the six years Governor Jeanne Shaheen led the state, Sgambati was instrumental in designing and introducing the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and the Kid's Cabinet.  For more information go to:
